Oh, the naïveté.
Colton Underwood revealed he is not planning to sign a prenup ahead of his wedding to fiancé Jordan C. Brown.
“We’ve already had this conversation. We’re in it for the long haul,” Underwood said on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Monday.
“I know you guys have opinions on prenups,” he added, likely referring to when Cohen chided Teresa Giudice for saying she was not going to sign one with her fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
“We don’t want to put those vibes out there,” Underwood said.
The former “Bachelor” star, 30, also shared that he and Brown, 39, did not want to have a long engagement, but they realized the COVID-19 pandemic has made it impossible to plan a wedding quickly.
“It’s what, three years backed up now because of COVID?” he said. “I want a good wedding. We need a venue, and venues are backed up. We’re [going big].”
The “Coming Out Colton” star and Brown announced their engagement in February after less than one year of dating. The pair were first linked in September 2021, just five months after Underwood came out as gay on “Good Morning America.”
The former NFL player recently said on Amazon Live that they plan to have a “nontraditional” wedding.
“That aspect of our relationship and our engagement and even, you know, our wedding when it comes time to plan that, we’re going to be doing it, hopefully, in a nontraditional fun, weird way,” he said. “It’s going to be authentic to us instead of trying to fit into some mold.”
Underwood was previously in a relationship with his “Bachelor” winner, Cassie Randolph.
