Simone Biles regularly wows spectators with her routines, and the U.S Gymnastics Championships were no exception.
The 24-year-old Olympic gold medalist left commentators fixated—and unable to comment—during her stunning showcase in Fort Worth, Texas.
Biles claimed her seventh women’s all-round title after securing a score of 119.650. The result put her 4.7 points ahead of Sunisa Lee.
The winning performance left commentators speechless as they failed to vocally analyze the gymnastic champion’s performance.
A video of the routine shows commentators initially referencing her “never been done before” signature move, The Biles.
However, after 30-seconds, nothing is heard from commentators as they sit in total silence until the end of Biles’ routine.
Biles then sashayed into a series of gravity-defying moves, earning her multiple cheers from the audience.
On completion, the commentators could not help but laugh in amazement as they hailed the gymnast the “greatest of all time,” while gushing over her astonishing floor work.
It was not only the pundits that were stunned by Biles’ work. The excitement also translated online as social media exploded with praise for the sports star.
The video has been viewed over 1.3 million times at the time of publishing and has racked up thousands of likes and retweets.
Fans of the artistic gymnast were quick to share their own analysis of her routine.
In a tweet that was liked 60 times, @missmuttz highlighted: “LMAAOOOO they didn’t even say anything for most of the routine. Can’t remember seeing that too often.”
“Simone Biles is a helium balloon made of muscles,” @RawNakedArt gushed.
@AvariceKing tweeted: “Jesus bloody Christ lmao, how would one even compete against her? Calling her a ridiculously talented and skilled acrobat feels like a massive understatement considering how much she absolutely slays the competition and makes it look easy.”
“Does gravity simply not work as effectively around her THAT WAS AMAZING,” @bluehazeyco posted.
The online applaud comes after Biles made history as the first woman to successfully perform and complete a Yurchenko double pike vault.
The move saw Biles sprint down the runway, roundoff onto the springboard, move into a back handspring before completing two backflips in a pike position.
A video of the move, which had previously only been attempted by men, pulled in over five million viewers online.
Biles is currently gearing up to compete at this summer’s Tokyo Olympics.
