Sometimes life really is just a walk in the park.
Comedian Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer were spotted out and about in New York City this week with their son, 22-month-old Gene.
The funny lady, 39, and her chef hubby, 41, kept it casual as they strolled through one of New York’s parks together. Schumer kept it low-key in black sneakers, olive pants and flannel, with her blonde tresses pulled into a ponytail. Fischer matched his partner’s vibe in boots, grey sweats, a red Adidas tee and a black beanie.
Baby Gene looked adorable as he explored the scene in a baby blue top, navy bottoms and Nikes.
The parents wore masks and kept up social-distancing measures with the other New Yorkers enjoying the sunshine.
“We did IVF and IVF was really tough on me,” she said. “I don’t think I could ever do IVF again.”
The couple, who are thinking about expanding their family, are looking into other options.
“I decided that I can’t be pregnant ever again,” she said. “We thought about a surrogate, but I think we’re going to hold off for right now.”
Until they make any firm decisions, they’re just enjoying their time with their almost 2-year-old son.
“Life is so much more beautiful,” she said of becoming a mom. “He’s the best thing in my life.”
