Of course, not everyone that’s worked with Michele has had a negative experience with her. Glee creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy said the he was “still very close to” Michele and her co-stars Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet, in a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
2016—Naya Rivera Opens Up About Not Talking to Michele during Glee Season 6
Naya Rivera wrote in her memoir that two’s friendship broke down to the point where they didn’t speak during Season 6, according to E News. Despite criticizing Michele for not “lik[ing] sharing the spotlight” in the book, Rivera said, “I don’t think there was like any beef,” in a 2019 appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
