Nike has developed an all-new fabric for its latest yoga collection, called Infinalon. According to the sportswear giant, the new technology took two years to develop and is “Designed to deliver infinite comfort on a yogi’s mat and beyond. Compared to traditional spandex, Infinalon’s stretch and recovery is almost double when the same amount of force is applied, and is not restricted by stretch lockout, providing a consistent and non-restrictive compression system. By weaving its yarn into multiple layers, Nike was able to create a much thinner yet stronger fabric, with a high density providing ample opaqueness while keeping things breathable and lightweight. Nike adds that Infinalon’s smooth surface is “incredibly soft” and provides “sculpting, contouring and shaping without sacrificing comfort.”
The new Infinalon fabric will be implemented into Nike’s latest yoga collection — ranging from leggings, pants, shorts, and bodysuits — which is now available over at the brand’s online store. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or hoping to get into the sport as a new year’s resolution, Nike’s Infinalon yoga collection is definitely the upgrade you deserve for a healthy start to 2020.
Elsewhere in sportswear, Nike has created an Ohio State ‘alumni’ jersey for LeBron James.
