As Page Six previously reported, Teresa, 47, and the couple’s four daughters are set to visit Joe in Italy sometime this week. Joe, 47, is living in his native country as he awaits a final decision as to whether he’ll permanently be deported after serving 41 months in a US prison for fraud.
Teresa’s father is currently in Italy visiting his son-in-law.
Teresa wanted to get Joe the passport so he can travel to counties close to the US so their children can see him, TMZ reported. According to TMZ, Italy “wants to make sure Teresa has no issues that Joe might take the kids to Cuba or some other place and not return the children. She has no fear of that.”
Meanwhile, the couple’s relationship is still up in the air.
“If we stay together, we stay together, if we don’t, we don’t. We’ll see,” Joe told Andy Cohen via satellite from Italy during “The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked” last week.
Teresa seems to be in the same boat, saying, “I haven’t seen Joe in three years and seven months, it’s going to be even longer, three years and eight months … I’ve definitely changed, and I’m sure he has, too.”
Before Joe got locked up, Teresa spent her own time behind bars for fraud.
