Broadway Re-enactments

Are you a Broadway musical lover? What are your favorite shows? Why?

According to a recent Times article, TikTok is now home to songs and dances from Broadway and beyond:

It’s where more and more fans go to experience musical theater — and to recreate it. Step for step, smile by smile, in bursts of 30 seconds or so, they imitate the originals and put their bodies into the scene.

Yet these content creators are not just copycats; they are attempting and sometimes mastering the complicated dance moves and distinctive performances of shows they may never see live, let alone be cast in. Sharing the result with the world, they are making TikTok a theater of their own.

Watch some of the videos in the related article, and then tell us, which are your favorites? Which dances, if any, would you like to learn — and make your own? And, if you were to visit Broadway now, what show would you most want to see?
