Grammy winner Bad Bunny also became the first Latino and Spanish‑speaking solo artist to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in a performance featuring surprise appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
Sports photographers like Julio Cortez, a Pulitzer Prize winner, are key to capturing the game’s biggest moments and smallest details. Armed with two Sony Alpha A1 II cameras and one Sony Alpha A1, Cortez told Business Insider that the work that goes into photographing the Super Bowl begins “many hours before kickoff.”
“I’m always looking to capture the emotions of everyone involved, including the players, coaches, fans, and celebrities,” Cortez said.
