  • We’re seeking nominations for Business Insider’s 11th annual list of the most innovative CMOs.
  • We want to showcase the CMOs who are driving growth at their companies while navigating disruption.
  • Submit your entries by 5 p.m. ET on March 27.

Business Insider is seeking nominations for our 11th annual list of the most innovative CMOs in the world. Submit your nominees via this form by 5 p.m. ET on March 27.

Your nominee doesn’t have to hold the CMO title at their organization, but they must be the senior-most marketing executive at their company. They must also have been in their current role for at least 6 months.

CMOs are navigating a convergence of challenges: political and economic uncertainty, rapid technological upheaval driven by artificial intelligence, and a decline in mass-reach media, forcing them to seek new channels, such as influencer marketing, to continue connecting with consumers. All the while, they’re under growing scrutiny to prove marketing’s direct impact on the bottom line. We want to showcase the CMOs who are leading from the top and inspiring the next generation of marketers.

We will reveal the full list during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on June 23.

Criteria and methodology

The list will consider factors such as the executives’ influence on their company’s financial performance, their roles and responsibilities, the size and impact of the brands they represent, and how these executives are driving the entire marketing profession forward.

We highly recommend supporting your entries with case studies and quantitative data.

While information about the individual’s broader career history will be helpful context, the entries should focus on the impact nominees have had over the past 12 months.

Business Insider’s editorial team will judge and determine the list based on the nominations we receive and our own reporting. We may contact you with follow-up questions or invitations for your nominee to be interviewed for additional articles and features.

Submit your nominations here by March 27.
