‘Punjabi Devils’ biker boss tried to flee California for India after arrest for dealing guns: feds

The boss of the Punjabi Devils biker gang tried to bolt California and head to India after an arrest for illegally dealing firearms, the FBI revealed Monday — as he pleaded guilty to the charges.

Jashanpreet Singh, 27, whose Punjabi Devils have known ties to the Hells Angels, was busted in June 2025 trying to sell illegal weapons to an undercover officer — including assault weapons, three machine gun converters and other guns, the FBI Sacramento said.

But he ditched his day in San Joaquin County court on state charges a month later.

US Customs and Border Protection agents were waiting for him on July 23 at San Francisco International Airport as he tried to catch a flight out of America, according to the feds.

The FBI had also found firearms and a fused “pineapple” hand grenade at his home and had to detonate the explosives at the residence, officials said.

Singh now faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for unlawfully dealing in firearms, and up to 10 years and a $250,000 fine for unlawfully possessing a machine gun.

Singh is scheduled to be sentenced on May 11, 2026, and remains in federal custody.
