‘They’re not victims!’ Epstein’s lawyer shames accusers because ‘they kept coming back’

Alan Dershowitz, the attorney that helped negotiate Jeffrey Epstein’s “unprecedented” plea deal for child prostitution in 2007, took to Newsmax Monday to attack his former client’s alleged victims, calling for their identities to be made public and faulting them for repeatedly returning to Epstein “over and over again.”

Dershowitz – who’s faced accusations of sexually assaulting a minor himself from at least one prominent Epstein victim, an accusation he’s fiercely denied – was asked to react to the Justice Department’s Friday release of around 3.5 million Epstein files. He argued that the released files proved that there were a “relatively small number of underage victims,” and suggested that many of Epstein’s alleged victims carried the blame for what they endured.

“Most of the alleged victim survivors were adults who were paid $150, $250 to give him erotic and sexual massages, and they kept coming back over and over again. Many of them themselves recruited some of the younger women into the process,” Dershowitz claimed.

“The actual disclosures mostly support the proposition that he himself had improper sex with a number of young women – a lot of adult women who were, some of them themselves sex workers previously. They had worked in what were called ‘wack shacks,’ that is, places in West Palm Beach where you went and paid $200 and got a ‘happy ending’ massage.”

Dershowitz then called on the identities of Epstein’s accusers to be “made public,” insisting that they were never victims to begin with, and potentially co-conspirators of Epstein themselves.

“It can’t be the names of the accused are out there, but the accusers, somehow, because they call themselves victims and survivors, get a pass!” he continued.

“Many of these were adult women in their 20s who went to Epstein’s house, collected $250, came back repeatedly over and over again [and] brought with them friends. These are not victims! These are co-conspirators or people who were voluntary, but they’re not victims!”

“Dershowitz had previously admitted to having been in Epstein’s home and receiving massages there, but has repeatedly declared himself innocent of any wrongdoing. “I kept my underwear on during the massage,” Dershowitz said back in 2019 in response to the allegations. “I don’t like massages particularly.”
