Chaos erupted at a student-led anti-ICE protest outside Fremont High School in Nebraska when a red SUV flying a Trump 2024 flag struck a girl participating in the demonstration and then fled the scene, video and local officials say. Dozens of students had gathered in front of the school holding signs and chanting when the vehicle repeatedly drove by before accelerating into the protester, knocking her to the side. She was taken to a hospital, according to emergency responders. School administrators were on site supervising, and lawmakers including Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE) condemned the hit-and-run and called for a full investigation as police continue probing the incident.
