Justin Baldoni has quietly moved away from California and planted new roots in Nashville, Tennessee, while his once-expansive West Coast real estate footprint begins to thin.
Property records obtained by The Post show that Baldoni and his wife, Emily Baldoni, purchased a six-bedroom, six-bathroom Nashville residence over the summer for $3.4 million through a trust.
The roughly 7,000-square-foot home sits was newly constructed. The residence features a main-level primary suite, en-suite bedrooms throughout, dual laundry rooms, a three-car garage, expansive bonus space and a $150,000 builder credit earmarked for a future pool.

Situated on an acre, floor-to-ceiling windows frame landscaped grounds — while upgraded finishes, custom kitchen shelving and a refreshed fireplace give the home a polished but livable feel.
Baldoni has been spotted around Music City in the last few months, with fans pictured in several photos and videos with him on the streets and at the Nashville airport.
The Tennessee purchase, which took place in August, came just months before Baldoni quietly put his most lavish California holding on the rental market: a sprawling, fully furnished mountain compound in the Ojai area known as Moon Mountain Villa.
The resort-style retreat spans 12 private acres near Santa Paula and is now offered for $40,000 per month. Baldoni bought it in 2020 for $2.12 million.

That roughly 5,400-square-foot main residence includes five bedrooms and expansive indoor-outdoor living spaces oriented toward sweeping views of the Topa Topa Mountains and Ojai’s famed “Pink Moment” sunsets.
Amenities read more like a boutique wellness resort than a private home: an infinity pool and spa, a cold plunge, a sauna, a pickleball court, a koi pond, and event-ready lawns designed for yoga sessions or large gatherings. Multiple guest accommodations, including a dome house and a separate guest suite with a kitchen and a living space, round out the compound.
Baldoni has not fully severed ties with Southern California. He and Emily still maintain a smaller, custom-built Los Angeles farmhouse they purchased in 2017 for $1.04 million.
The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home, roughly 2,000 square feet, was previously rented between 2020 and 2023 for $8,500 to $11,000 per month.

In a 2020 interview with People, Baldoni described the emotional significance of that home, recalling how he approached the original owner unannounced.
“He was just like, ‘This house means so much to me,’” Baldoni said at the time, referencing a heart-shaped stone embedded in the front steps.
“Then he showed me this rock and said, ‘This is an example of how this house was built with love.’”
After a nine-month renovation, the couple invited loved ones to write prayers and affirmations on the exposed beams. “So in the beams of the house is literally love,” Baldoni said.

The home was optimized for family life, with the garage converted into a gym featuring a climbing wall for their children.
“It’s so important for kids to develop that coordination and overcome certain fears,” Baldoni said. Emily added that the kitchen anchors the home: “There’s always a meal being prepared.”

The actor’s increasingly bi-coastal, now Tennessee-leaning, lifestyle shift unfolds as Baldoni faces mounting legal pressure tied to his film work.

In recent weeks, unsealed court filings from an ongoing lawsuit with Blake Lively reveal private text exchanges involving studio executives and A-list figures.
In one exchange cited in court documents, Baldoni was called a “moron” by a studio executive after allegedly referencing rape during film promotion. Another text thread included a remark from Taylor Swift, who referred to Baldoni as a “b–ch” with a “tiny violin” in messages to Lively. Swift later told Lively, “It feels awful to be in any way critical of any way you process what you’ve been going through but I just kinda miss my funny, dark, normal-speaking friend who talks to me as herself.”
As the legal fight plays out, Baldoni has kept a low public profile stateside. He was recently photographed surfing in Costa Rica with his family, just days after his birthday, appearing relaxed despite the escalating courtroom drama.
Lively’s lawsuit remains active, while Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit for defamation was dismissed last year on a technicality.
