California Gov. Gavin Newsom bizarrely blamed President Trump for the fatal shooting of an armed anti-ICE protestor in Minneapolis.
Newsom claimed Trump was trying to set the stage to implement the Insurrection Act.

“Yesterday, hundreds of thousands filled the streets of Minnesota – marching in subzero temperatures in a PEACEFUL protest. Not the excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act the President wanted,” he wrote on X on Saturday.
“So today, Trump made a shooting happen,” Newsom wrote.
“The President must end his violent occupation of Minnesota. NOW.”
The victim, Alex Jeffrey Pretti, 37, died at the scene of the Saturday morning shooting, the third involving federal agents in Minneapolis this month.
