Risky Business: Sex workers in Davos see demand soar during World Economic Forum

Demand for sex workers in Davos skyrocketed during this year’s World Economic Forum — including one client who allegedly shelled out a whopping $114,000 for four days with five women.

The apparent work hard, party harder attitude of the global elite was apparent in the voracious appetite for escorts in the Swiss town, where global leaders, big tech CEOs and moneyed magnates sent requests for sex workers surging, according to the Swiss dating and erotic services platform Titt4Tat.

Requests for erotic services soared to 79 — or a staggering 4,000% — on Jan. 19, the opening day of the World Economic forum, reported the Swiss edition of 20 Minutes,

Titt4Tat, which connects sex workers with potential clients, said prior to the conference, they recorded an average of two bookings per day in Davos annually.

A “particularly high” number of users were from the US, Russia, and Ukraine, the report noted.

Demand for black women has “increased sharply” this year. The sex workers reportedly included students, teachers, or travelers hoping to make a few extra bucks off the wealthy heavy hitters, reported regional French newspaper La Dépêche,

While some attendees shelled out big bucks for the sex workers, including the customer who partied hard with multiple escorts, they still had to pay other expensive tabs for drinks, hotels, and travel arrangements, according to the reports.
