“Top Chef” winner Kelsey Barnard Clark was arrested on DUI charges after allegedly crashing a car with her two children inside.
The Dothan Police Department in Dothan, Ala., responded to a call Wednesday evening regarding Clark after she allegedly drove her car into a mailbox, per TMZ.
Authorities told the outlet that once police officers arrived at the scene, Clark reportedly smelled of alcohol and showed other signs of driver impairment.


Her two children were reportedly with her in the car when the incident happened, but no one was injured during the crash, according to local news outlet WBRC.
Clark, 35, was then brought to the Dothan City Jail and booked on a DUI charge.
Her kids were reportedly sent home with a family member.


The Dothan Police Department publicly released her mugshot via their website on the daily roundup of arrests, also citing her charge as “Driving Under the Influence (Alcohol).”
Page Six reached out to the Dothan Police Department along with Clark, but did not receive an immediate response from either.
Clark won Season 16 of “Top Chef” where she was known for her southern hospitality.


Clark most recently appeared as a judge on the Netflix series “Next Gen Chef,” which premiered in September.
She is a mom to son Monroe, 8, and daughter Evelyn, 5 and often gives a glimpse into her family life on Instagram, where she boasts over 100,000 followers.
The Alabama native posted a daily vlog to Instagram on the day of her arrest, where she talked about balancing her life as a mom and a chef.
