Trump’s youngest son credited with saving woman from brutal attack after FaceTime call

A dramatic courtroom revelation unveiled how President Donald Trump’s youngest son became an unlikely hero in a London assault case.

Barron Trump is being credited with saving a woman’s life after he witnessed her being brutally attacked by her ex-boyfriend during a FaceTime call and immediately contacted UK police, Metro reported Wednesday

The shocking incident unfolded around 2:30 a.m. on Jan.18, 2025, when the woman called Barron.

“Snaresbrook Crown Court heard a dramatic call in which Barron told 999 operators: ‘I just got a call from a girl I know. She’s getting beaten up,’” the report said. After giving authorities the address, he repeated: ‘It’s really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up.’

During the brief 10 to 15-second call, he said he saw a ceiling, heard screaming, and watched as the camera panned to the woman being struck repeatedly.

“I could see a guy’s head on the phone, and then the camera turns to her crying and getting hit,’” he said.

The defendant, 22-year-old Matvei Rumiantsev, allegedly grew jealous of the woman’s friendship with Barron. When police arrived and reviewed body camera footage, officers discovered the mysterious informant was actually Trump’s son. The woman tearfully confirmed she was friends with Barron and described the intervention as “a sign from God.”

Testifying that she was “on my knees begging,” the woman credited Barron with giving her the chance to escape. Rumiantsev denies all charges, including assault, rape, and strangulation.
