David Beckham points out his children’s ‘mistakes’ hours after son Brooklyn’s rant

David Beckham made a cryptic comment about his children’s “mistakes” hours after son Brooklyn Beckham’s viral rant on Monday.

The retired athlete appeared on “Squawk Box” Tuesday morning, speak about “the good … and the bad” of social media.

“What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous,” he said. “But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, [is] use it for the right reasons.”

David, who shares Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, with wife Victoria Beckham, added, “They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn.

“That is what I try to teach my kids,” the 50-year-old continued. “You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes.”

When asked about “constant” headlines surrounding his family, the ex-pro soccer player dodged the question.

David similarly stayed silent at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 56th Annual Meeting that same day when a reporter asked whether he had a “message” for Brooklyn or minded “family business … being aired in public.”

He and Victoria have yet to comment directly on Brooklyn’s Instagram Story tirade, which accused them of “controlling” his life and trying to “ruin” his and wife Nicola Peltz’s romance.

The 26-year-old declared that he does not “want to reconcile” with his parents as their years-long feud rages on.

He called out Victoria, 51, for drama at the couple’s April 2022 wedding, from a last-minute dress cancellation to a “humiliat[ing]” first dance.

“I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,” Brooklyn claimed. “I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.”

He defended Peltz, praising his partner as someone who wants “peace, privacy and happiness” for their “future family.”

The couple have been putting on a united front as headlines swirled last year about Brooklyn going “no contact” with his family — and, earlier this month, demanding they only reach out to him via lawyers.

While the actress, 31, has yet to break her silence on the feud, she posted a pointed selfie with her “family first” tattoo on display just ahead of Brooklyn’s bombshell statement.

Brooklyn chose to speak out over a “massive breakdown in trust,” we hear, with another insider telling us “every word” of his lengthy social media upload is “true.”

The source insisted, “It’s too late [to reconcile] … for now. He’s had enough.”

Eagle-eyed social media users, however, have flagged inconsistencies in Brooklyn’s story — specifically regarding Victoria’s “inappropriate” wedding stunts.

Guest Stavros Agapiou, however, confirmed to the Daily Mail on Tuesday that Brooklyn is “telling the truth” about the former Spice Girls member.
