Brooklyn Beckham is stuck between a rock and a hard place as he tries to pacify his wife and untangle his extraordinary estrangementfrom his family, sources tell Page Six.
The eldest son of celebrity Brit couple David and Victoria Beckham has been living full-time with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, 31, in the US since their marriage in 2022.
Since then, he has grown ever closer to her family, while relations with his own have deteriorated — to the point where he requested his own parents only contact him via his lawyers last summer, according to multiple press reports.
The 26-year-old and his wife have not even spoken to the Beckhams in over a year due to the feud, which first started even before their lavish May 2022 wedding, we’re told.
And Brooklyn seemingly messaged indicated he wanted to cut the last remaining ties with his parents when he “blocked” them on Instagramover the holidays, as did his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
Sources familiar with the estrangement reveal Brooklyn — whose main claim to fame is launching his own hot sauce business — is following his wife’s lead.
Indeed, Nicola, the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz and his wife Claudia, has deleted all posts that feature any of the Beckhams.
The latest snub comes despite numerous attempts at outreach from soccer star David, 50, and Spice Girls singer and fashion designer Victoria, 51. They directly invited Brooklyn and Nicola to attend celebrations for David’s knighthood in the UK in November.
The Beckhams also asked the young couple to join them over the recent holiday season, but were rebuffed, according to insiders.
A source familiar with the rift said, “People are confused over the developments of the last month. It seemed like things had died down and the decision to unfollow [the Beckhams] – and block them – seems to be bringing it up again.
Pointing the finger at Nicola, the source added, “What is Nicola trying to prove?”
Victoria and Nicola’s spat started before the couple’s wedding when Victoria pulled out of making a wedding gown for her daughter-in-law, although insiders feel its now festering for longer than it should.
“As much as they (Brooklyn and the Peltzes) felt Victoria was in the wrong, this is petulant and short sighted behavior, it’s a way to extend the story that needed to go away.”
Brooklyn — who has multiple tattoos in tribute to his wife — finds himself stuck in the middle, but his public actions increasingly seem to side more with his in-laws.
He even blocked his younger brother Cruz, 20, on Instagram, who said his parents “woke up blocked … as did I,” one day last year.
Another insider who knows the couple said, “Brooklyn wants to do anything to make Nicola happy, but this is all getting out of control. I can’t imagine a world where Brooklyn wouldn’t want to see his parents again.”
Brooklyn has become extremely close to his wife’s father, billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, who has given him business advice and support. It appears he even supported his daughter and son-in-law as they bought a $16 million Beverly Hills mansion.
The purchase was made through an LLC linked to the Peltzes, and largely made with cash from Nicola’s trust fund, sources told us.
As for David and Victoria, a source told us, “All they want is to repair the relationship with their son and his wife, they still hope and believe they will be able to come together.”
But that seems further away than ever after his request his family use their lawyers to get in touch. He reportedly made the request, according to the Daily Mail, after he was offended when briefings about Nicola appeared in the press which suggested he was being “controlled” by her and that he was a “hostage.”
“David was told to speak to them via [law firm] Schillings,” a source told the outlet. “That was the only way for them to communicate.”
Despite everything, another insider claimed that Brooklyn made the decision to block his parents for the sake of his “mental health”, adding, “the decision was made by Brooklyn after constant attempts to set boundaries had been ignored and Nicola will always support his decisions.”

Although Brooklyn was absent from David’s Instagram roundup of his 2025 year which included all of his other children — Cruz, Romeo, 23, and Harper, 14 — the soccer star did post a picture of him and Brooklyn on his Instagram Story the same day.
We’re told the relationship between the Peltzes and the Beckhams was frosty before even she married into the family as they are very different types of people. David and Victoria are both international media sensations, with David one of the best soccer stars of his era; while Nelson, 83, is one of the most prominent figures in finance of his generation while his second wife, Claudia Heffner, is an accomplished fashion model.
As Page Six has previously told, things have never been the same since Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding at the Peltz home in Palm Beach, Florida.
After Victoria pulled out of making the dress, Nicola, Claudia, and stylist Leslie Fremar went to Pierpaolo Piccioli, the former head designer at Valentino, making three trips to Rome before flying over seamstresses from Italy to finish the gown.
Things then went from bad to worse when singer Marc Anthony, a longtime Beckham family friend, performed a song at the reception. However, instead of the bride, he called Victoria, whom he dubbed “the most beautiful woman in the room,” up on stage to dance with her son. Nicola ran off in tears and had to be persuaded to come back to the wedding, which was being covered by Vogue.
“Her face was swollen from crying and her friends were telling her, ‘You have to go back down, so many people came from all over for you’,” a Peltz source told us, “She finally comes down and is sad the entire evening… She [Victoria] took that moment from Nicola, that’s the God’s honest truth.”
However, a guest who was at the reception told Page Six that Victoria was “mystified” by claims she “ruined” her son’s special wedding dance with his bride.

Brooklyn has been around fame his entire life. He’s described as “very sensitive” by friends who know him and struggled at school in the UK. He left his photography course at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York City in 2018, after completing just one year of the four-year program.
Friends said he was “homesick,” although he didn’t have to slum it in the standard dorms while there. Instead, his parents rented him a swanky apartment and family friend Bobby Rich moved in with him.
Victoria, who adores her oldest son, made it no secret that she was thrilled to have him back home in London.
He then did an internship with celebrity photographer Rankin before re-focusing his career on becoming a chef. He now has his own range of hot sauce, Cloud23, which his dad has invested in. The Beckhams even joined their son at Cloud23’s launch at Whole Foods in London in October 2024.
He dated actress Chloë Grace Moretz before meeting Nicola, an actress and director. There is little doubt he is still completely smitten with her – recently calling her “my everything” in one of his frequent Instagram posts praising her.
Within the past year, Brooklyn missed his dad’s 50th birthday and his being knighted at Windsor Castle — an achievement the family celebrated in London at their close pal, chef Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant and a party at a Cotswolds pub with friends like director Guy Ritchie.
Last month, he also missed the wedding of Ramsay’s daughter Holly – a childhood pal – to Olympic gold swimmer Adam Peaty, reportedly because his parents were guests.
David Beckham – who owns the Miami Major League Soccer team Inter Miami CF – will spent most of the summer in the US for the World Cup, which, sources pointed out, gives a great opportunity for father and son to reunite and bond together.
“I know that Brooklyn is so sweet, but he is a big boy and he is responsible at the end of the day for making his own decisions,” the source added, “He can sort this out if he wants to.”
