With over 1,000 rallies scheduled to commence this weekend nationwide in protest of the latest fatal shooting by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, a number of MAGA supporters are lashing out online over the planned demonstrations.
“No kings, free Palestine, my body my choice, BLM, same thing with all the insufferable people,” wrote X user “Vanessa,” a self-proclaimed “MAGA” follower and right-wing commentator who’s amassed more than 12,000 followers. “They have no clue what they want, just going with the bs that they’re fed like good little sheep. It’s exhausting.”
The rallies are being organized by a coalition of progressive organizations, including Indivisable, one of the leading organizers of the No Kings rallies that mobilized more than 5 million people.
Events are scheduled to take place across the United States, and while a number of progressive figures championed the planned demonstrations, MAGA figures such as X user “J,” a self-described “patriot” and “3X Trump voter” who’s amassed nearly 13,000 followers, expressed only frustration.
“The cause never matters they just want an excuse to rage cause they were told too,” they wrote Saturday in a social media post on X. “It never ends!”
Others, like X user “Native Florida Patriot,” a self-described conservative and “anti-communist,” condemned liberals supporting the protests as only wanting to “create chaos.”
“That is all liberals do when not in power,” they wrote in a social media post on X Saturday. “They just protest, protest, protest & create chaos.”
The name of the planned nationwide protests – “ICE Out For Good” – is a reference to Renee Good, the 37-year-old mother of three that was fatally shot on Wednesday by Jonathan Ross, an ICE agent and Iraq war veteran. The Trump administration has fiercely defended Ross, claiming the shooting was justified, whereas critics have called for the agent to face murder charges.
