Trump health decline is ‘perfect storm’ as niece outlines what months ahead look like

Donald Trump’s niece says the physical, cognitive, and mental health of the president is in decline, and has made for a “perfect storm”.

Contrasting the “loud” and “quiet” of presidents Trump and Joe Biden, Mary Trump believes many are confusing the current president’s outbursts and pushback against reporters as strength. That is not the case, according to his niece, who suggested Trump is in a period of decline and that this would continue to develop over the next few months.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, Mary Trump outlined the difference between Trump and Biden’s visible health deterioration while in office. She said, “His [Trump’s] belligerence and his volume cover over a lot of sins. People mistake his being loud for being strong. Unfortunately, that’s not at all the case.”

“We can see that in contrast to what people’s assessment of President Biden was. He was quieter, he had a stutter, and they somehow equated that with mental- his inability to think things through or his weakness or his failing cognitive health.”

But Trump is now showing signs of the same decline, Mary Trump claimed, and she believes the president is heading into a “perfect storm” moment.

She said, “With Donald, again, it’s more of the same, but more of the same in the sense that it’s nothing new, but anybody who has the kinds of severe psychiatric diagnosis he has, he’s had them for decades, they’ve gone undiagnosed, they’re going to get worse because they’re untreated.”

Whether the president declines further is yet to be seen, but Mary Trump believes we have now reached the point of Trump’s “untreated” decline being a triple threat of health woes.

She explained, “We are at this point now where his physical health, his cognitive decline, and his lack of psychological health are all intersecting and it’s sort of this perfect storm that is accelerating the deterioration of all of them.”

Mary Trump added that the “fear and loneliness” Trump felt as a child will have an effect on his current cognitive decline. She explained, “Donald developed some powerful defense mechanisms to keep himself from feeling so constantly terrified and alone and those became hardened over time, again nothing had been done to alleviate the breach in the first place.”
