The ultra-exclusive San Francisco hotel where actor Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter, Victoria, died of a suspected fatal overdose has hosted presidents and celebrities and even served as backdrop for famous films like “Vertigo.”
Rooms at the Fairmont, perched atop San Francesco’s tiny Nob Hill neighborhood, can fetch up to $1700 per night or more for luxe suites with sweeping views.

The grand Beaux-arts hotel is a popular spot for visiting officials and luminaries, hosting former President Joe Biden during the APEC conference in 2023 and top-dollar fundraisers for politicians like Kamala Harris, who threw a ritzy fete last year with tickets costing up to $250,000.
It was packed with visitors around New Year’s Eve, workers said, but quiet Friday as staffers dismantled holiday decor like a life-size gingerbread house and bespoke lobby bar.
Jones was a “problem child” who ran into trouble with the law in the months before her death, sources told The Post.
She was known as a party animal in North Beach, a popular nightlife spot packed with bars and clubs.
A bouncer at Vesuvio, a popular bar in the neighborhood, recognized her and said she had been 86’ed for being intoxicated and rude.
“I’ve not let her in before and she’d be like “f—- you,’” he said.

“She was never nice.”
Jones was arrested three times last year, including a drug-related bust in Napa County where she was allegedly under the influence, possessing narcotics and uncooperative with police, according to court records.

In April, she was busted in Napa County for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic controlled substance, and obstructing a peace officer.
She was also charged with domestic battery and later released on bail.
The grand beaux arts hotel where she died is renowned for its sweeping city and bay views and has been featured in films such as “The Rock” and “Dirty Harry.”

Jones was reportedly found on the 14th floor after 3 a.m Thursday.
An official cause of death has not been revealed, but a law enforcement source said an overdose was likely.
“It was most likely fentanyl-related. People get all their drugs with fentanyl now,” the officer said. “They [drug dealers] have it on everything they measure with, everything gets laced.”
