Trump doubles down, insists he is in ‘perfect health’ and he ‘aced’ cognitive exam

President Trump doubled down on his physical condition early Friday, insisting that he is in “PERFECT HEALTH” following the publication of a wide-ranging interview that touched on his frequent bruises, his hearing, and a recent CT scan he underwent.

“The White House Doctors have just reported that I am in ‘PERFECT HEALTH,’ and that I ‘ACED’ (Meaning, was correct on 100% of the questions asked!), for the third straight time, my Cognitive Examination, something which no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take,” the 79-year-old declared on Truth Social.

“P.S., I strongly believe that anyone running for President, or Vice President, should be mandatorily forced to take a strong, meaningful, and proven Cognitive Examination,” Trump went on. “Our great Country cannot be run by ‘STUPID’ or INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!”

The president’s declaration followed the Wall Street Journal publishing a report Thursday that examined Trump’s health at the end of the first year of his second term, based on an interview with the commander in chief.

Trump, who will turn 80 on June 14, blamed a daily aspirin regimen for frequent dark bruises that appear on his hands, saying his doctors would “rather have me take the smaller one [baby aspirin]. I take the larger one, but I’ve done it for years, and what it does do, is it causes bruising.”

The president and his physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, also clarified that Trump underwent a CT scan during a physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Oct. 10 — not an MRI as previously indicated.

“I would have been a lot better off if they didn’t [do the scan], because the fact that I took it said, ‘Oh gee, is something wrong?’” the president told the Journal. “Well, nothing’s wrong.”
