Two former Trump insiders who are now activists against the president turned against one another in the run-up to Christmas.
Soviet-born Lev Parnas, who worked closely with Rudy Giuliani during Trump’s first administration and was purportedly sent to Ukraine to help Trump and Giuliani make contacts there for the purposes of digging up negative info on Hunter Biden, has gone to war against former Trump fixer Michael Cohen. Cohen was previously convicted for campaign finance violations.
Parnas, who was also convicted of campaign finance violations and fraud, and today reports on Trump from outside the administration, took to his Substack to attack both Cohen and MeidasTouch, a progressive media company.
According to Parnas, the feud began with a disagreement about profit-sharing, although Parnas also noted an interaction with Cohen where Parnas said he wasn’t satisfied with Cohen’s answers related to the ex-fixer’s time working for Trump during the now-president’s time as extremely close friends with Jeffrey Epstein. Parnas demanded Cohen answer questions about Epstein and Trump’s dealings, and said he wasn’t satisfied with the answers he’d heard.
He said it’s a “very emotional” situation whereby he accidentally discovered “really really really bad people” who’re on the left.
“I’m not crazy. I don’t have any issues,” Parnas said. “You guys are scared. Scared little chickens.”
As for Meidas, Parnas said the company is using “AI and ChatGPT” to tug at readers’ heart strings with false information.
“They have never sat in a room with Donald Trump. Clickbait,” he said about them.
In a separate video posted to X, Parnas wrote, “I’m calling out,” tagging both Cohen and Meidas before adding, “Stop the narratives and bring proof. If you know the truth, say it on the record.”
“If you’ve got evidence, show it. America’s done with cover-ups. Enough is enough,” he added.
He also accused Cohen of not having the sources to back up claims he has made, asking, “Who in Trump world would talk to you?”
