A brazen goon pummeled a female subway conductor and stole her train keys in a shocking attack in downtown Brooklyn on Sunday, police said.
The on-duty MTA worker was making an announcement on a stalled southbound C train at the Hoyt–Schermerhorn Streets station in downtown Brooklyn just before 3 p.m. when a man lurched forward and punched her in the face through the train cabin window, according to the NYPD.
In the chaos, the thief managed to escape with the 31-year-old conductor’s train keys.

The conductor sustained swelling to her face and was treated at Brookdale Hospital.
Police described the assailant as a heavyset male in his early 20s, last seen wearing a surgical mask and a black hoodie.
He was also carrying several shopping bags, cops added.
