Rob Reiner looked like one proud dad in a series of photos taken “a few months” before his and his wife Michele Singer Reiner’s tragic deaths.
The late director was seen beaming at a wall of family photos in his home in a set of snaps taken for Interview Magazine shared by photographer Sinna Nasseri on Thursday.
The sweet picture showed the father of three posing with his arms up triumphantly as he sat on the staircase with a smile next to the completed wall of family pictures.
In another snapshot, the “All in the Family” star stood next to a refrigerator door full of family memories with a glass in his hand.
“They had pictures of family everywhere, and Rob was very into the shot in the stairwell where I asked him to raise his arms with an expression of pride,” Nasseri captioned his Instagram post, in part, reflecting on his recent interaction with the star.
“He was humble and more interested in showing off his rose garden (first planted by the previous homeowner Henry Fonda) than his Emmys.”
Nasseri added that Michele, who was also a photographer, was “clearly protective of her husband.”
She “watched me work for the first few shots,” before she decided “he was in good hands” and gave them “space” to work, he recalled of the shoot. He closed his post by sending “love and peace” to the Reiner family.
Rob and Michele were found stabbed to death inside their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14. Rob was 78. Michele was 70.
Sources previously told The Post that the couple’s daughter, Romy Reiner, was the one to discover their bodies and that Rob and Michele’s throats were slit.
The insiders additionally claimed that the pair had stab wounds to their throats and multiple wounds found throughout their bodies.
In addition to Nick, 32, and Romy, 28, Rob and Michele were also parents to son Jake, 34.
Sources initially told The Post that Nic, was being eyed as a person of interest, noting that a knife was used in the attack.
The couple’s second child was arrested later that evening and is now facing two counts of first degree murder for the deaths of his parents.
Nick made his first court appearance since his parents’ deaths on Wednesday where he was given an arraignment date of Jan. 7, 2026.
Following Nick’s appearance, his siblings broke their silence on their parents’ passing with a statement.
“Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience,” they said.
“They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends. We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness, and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life. We now ask for respect and privacy, for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity, and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.”
