Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer marked Democrats’ midterms triumph Wednesday morning by revisiting the most mocked photo of his career.
The Brooklyn Democrat posted an image on Instagram of himself smiling beside a smoking propane grill, its grates crowded with burgers and hot dogs bearing the faces of Republicans who lost their races Tuesday, along with President Trump and Vice President JD Vance — the latter displaying the bald, puffy-cheeked meme version of his face.

“54 seats and counting. And I learned how to grill…these burgers and dogs are finally cooked,” Schumer wrote.
The post harkened back to Father’s Day 2024, when Schumer shared a photo of himself at the grill laden with raw patties — one of which was already topped with a slice of cheese.
The image drew relentless ridicule online, and Schumer ultimately deleted it.
