People left flowers at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Further down the National Mall, the Doughboy Foundation sponsored the Bells of Peace Ceremony at the National World War I Memorial.
Across the Potomac River, President Donald Trump laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday and spoke to the bravery of America’s veterans.
