Crystal Kung Minkoff does not agree with pal Jeff Lewis’ harsh criticism of “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gina Kirschenheiter.
“I would say this right to his face; I don’t agree with what he says about her,” Minkoff, 43, told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” recently. “I like Gina. I think she’s super nice and I’m really impressed with what she’s done in her life.”
Although the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum said it’s not her “style” to “come for people out of nowhere,” she couldn’t back down after Lewis called her fellow California girl a “white-trash grifter” on his radio show following a heated back-and-forth on “Watch What Happens Live.”

The “Still Flipping Out” star, 56, put Kirschenheiter, 42, on blast during his September appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
When asked which Real Housewife’s home he’d never want to design, Lewis named Kirschenheiter, claiming he wouldn’t be able to work with her budget. He also came for her upcoming nuptials with fiancé Travis Mullen, stating, “Broke people shouldn’t have big weddings.”
Kirschenheiter, for her part, clapped back at Lewis at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, last weekend.

“I think it’s interesting that Jeff Lewis thinks I would want him to design for me,” she said. “I’m pretty sure Jeff Lewis was in charge of the most recent redesign of his face and look at how that turned out.”
Kirschenheiter then stood up and raised her middle fingers, mouthing, “F–k you, Jeff Lewis!”
But the back-and-forth did not stop there.

In the days that followed, Lewis took to his “Jeff Lewis Live” SiriusXM radio show to call Kirschenheiter a “white-trash grifter.”
“For me, I have no respect for her. She’s never been ‘Real Housewives’ material from day one. She’s a Make-a-Wish Foundation,” he fumed on the air, accusing the real estate agent of producing her own storylines and faking her engagement for the cameras.
While tensions have certainly reached their boiling point between the two Bravo personalities, Minkoff — who frequently appears on Lewis’ radio show and “Still Flipping Out” — expressed hope for the duo to mend fences in the future.

“Maybe fast forward a year and she’ll be really close friends with him,” Minkoff predicted. “That would make me really happy because I really respect them both. I really like them both.”
“Still Flipping Out” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, with new episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
