Savannah Chrisley’s new fiancé, Jason Galanis, and her father, Todd Chrisley, served time in the same prison together.
Galanis, 56, and Todd, 57 — who were both pardoned by President Trump — served time at Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida. Page Six can confirm their prison time overlapped from January to August 2023.
Savannah, 29, dropped a bombshell Tuesday, revealing she’s pregnant and engaged to a “much older” man. Although she didn’t name him — simply referring to him as “J” — Us Weekly identified him as convicted fraudster Jason Galanis.
Galanis was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison in September 2020 for his role in two schemes, including one that defrauded a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars.

In addition to prison time, he was ordered to forfeit about $80 million in proceeds and pay an equal amount in restitution.
Galanis was an associate of Hunter Biden who testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024 while he was still behind bars.
Trump commuted his prison sentence in March 2025.
Meanwhile, Trump pardoned both Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, in May 2025 after the reality stars were convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” stars were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion in June 2022 after allegedly submitting fake documents to banks when applying for loans. Julie, 53, also allegedly submitted false credit reports and bank statements while trying to rent a house in California.
On Tuesday, Savannah defended her 27-year age gap with Galanis, but acknowledged it was part of the reason she kept their romance — which started last year — private.
“I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years,’” she said on her “Unlocked” podcast.

Savannah called her future husband her “best friend.”
“It’s just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person. And I’m there,” she shared. “So yes, the age difference. So what?”
She continued to praise Galanis, stressing that he’s the love of her life. She also noted that he doesn’t “look his age, nor does he act his age,” and gushed about his “great” body and “even sharper” mind.
