Sophia Bush found out Chad Michael Murray had cheated on her with “plenty of girls” from the actor’s close friend.
In the “Chicago P.D.” actress’ newly released memoir, “And I Will Tell You Mine,”she said she became suspicious after one of the “Cinderella Story” actor’s pals didn’t show up for their 2005 wedding ceremony.
“It had always bothered me that one of [Murray’s] best friends had fallen mysteriously ill the night before the [wedding] day and not shown up to stand up there as a groomsman,” she wrote in the book, which was released Tuesday.
“Thinking about it that summer gave me the chills. I needed to know why,” Bush added.
In the months following their nuptials, the “John Tucker Must Die” star said she called Murray’s pal while the actor was away filming.
The unnamed friend sighed and asked Bush why she hadn’t called him sooner.
“And then he told me. Everything he could about all the girls he knew of. Girls I knew and plenty of girls I didn’t,” she wrote in her book.
“The number and the details are not important now. But at the time, they were shocking,” Bush added.
“Unimaginable, really. And brutal.”
Page Six has reached out to Murray’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Bush, 44, and the “Sullivan’s Crossing” actor, 45, met and began dating in 2003 while they were filming the first season of “One Tree Hill.”
In April 2005, the couple tied the knot in Santa Monica, California.
Five months later, the “Hitcher” star and Murray separated as rumors of infidelity surfaced.
In February 2006, Bush filed for an annulment, citing fraud; however, the request was denied.
Bush and Murray’s divorce became officially finalized in December 2006.
The co-stars continued working together professionally on the hit drama until Murray exited his role in 2009.
Bush is now married to former soccer star Ashlyn Harris, whom she secretly wed in the summer of 2025.
Murray, on the other hand, has been married to actress Sarah Roemer since September 2014. The couple shares three children.
