“Full House” actor John Stamos will be joining the Netflix series “The Hunting Wives” for Season 2 — and is already getting asked about nude scenes.
Stamos, 62, revealed that his wife, Caitlin McHugh, quizzed him about his casting when he dropped by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday.
“I told my wife, the first thing she said to me was, ‘Are you going to show your penis?’” Stamos said.
“Are you?” Fallon followed up. “Maybe,” Stamos joked.
On Instagram, Stamos shared the news that he’s joining the team with the caption “bless your heart,” tagging the show.
Stamos is best known for starring as heartthrob Jesse Katsopolis on ABC’s series “Full House.” The show ran for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995.
He later reprised his role in the Netflix sequel series “Fuller House” from 2016 to 2020.
“I said I’m in,” he continued.
Stamos will be portraying Chase Brylan in the upcoming season of the drama series, according to Variety. The description of his characters has not been announced yet.
Newcomers joining Stamos include Cam Gigandet and Dale Dickey.
Rebecca Cutter, the series showrunner, adapted “The Hunting Wives” from May Cobb’s novel of the same name.
The — at times raunchy — series follows Sophie O’Neil (Brittany Snow) as she moves to Texas and meets socialite Margo Bank (Malin Akerman). Sophie’s life is soon consumed by seduction and murder.
Season 2 begins with Sophie (Snow) and Margo (Akerman) “on the outs, but soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: Are they the hunters or the hunted?” according to Variety.
Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, and Dermot Mulroney round out the cast.
Stamos also joined the Apple TV+ series “Palm Royale” for Season 2. His character, Dr. Dusty Magic, is a lawyer and part-time gynecologist who helps Kristen Wiig’s character, Maxine, navigate legal troubles at the swanky 1960s Florida club, according to Today.
“I got a call and was asked, ‘Do you want to be on the show? ‘” Stamos said during an interview withthe NBC show on Dec. 12. “I said what do I play? And they said a lawyer/gynecologist.”
He quipped: “I said I’m in.”
