Inside Sharon Osbourne’s final moments with Ozzy as she shares rocker’s last words

Sharon Osbourne revealed the emotional final moments she shared with her late husband, Ozzy, just moments before he died at age 76.

“We’d spoken in the night. Ozzy had woken in the night and he asked me to kiss him twice, and I did,” Sharon shared in a Monday interview with the BBC.

“And then he said, ‘Hold me, hold me tight,’ and I did,” she recalled.

But that morning, things took a turn for the worse when someone came running into Sharon’s room and told her to come downstairs right away.

“I ran down, and that was it,” Sharon said.

Over a year later, “The Osbournes” star is still struggling with the death of her husband.

The lead singer of “Black Sabbath” passed away on July 22, 2025, at his home in Buckinghamshire, England.

On his death certificate, the causes of his death included not only cardiac arrest, but “coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction.”

“You’ve lost the love of your life, so you don’t just wake up and go, ‘I’m fine now. I’m cured,’” she told the outlet.

“You never get over it. But you learn to live with it, and that’s what I’m trying to do. So you either sit in a room and don’t come out, or you accept it, befriend it, and that’s it,” she added.

Sharon also said that she visits Ozzy’s grave “every day.”

However, Sharon and her 41-year-old daughter, Kelly, find comfort that so many of his fans are also grieving the singer.

“I never could have imagined it to be as helpful as it has been to know that we’re not alone in our grief and our sadness, and that the rest of the world loved him as much as we did,” Kelly, who was also there for the interview, told the outlet.

Sharon and Ozzy were married over 50 years after meeting in 1970 and tying the knot in 1982.

The couple shared three children: daughters Aimee, 43, and Kelly, and son Jack, 40.

Over the course of their decades-long marriage, they faced several challenges, including infidelityand Ozzy’s struggles with substance abuse.

However, they stuck with each other through all of the ups and downs.

On the first anniversary of his death this year, Sharon shared how her late husband would want to be remembered.

“As Ozzy would say, ‘When you want to remember me, just yank up the music really loud. As loud as you can get it, and just head bang,’” she told the BBC in a July 2026 interview.
