A MAGA content creator is calling out Ken Paxton’s campaign manager after she says she was ordered out of the U.S. Senate candidate’s San Antonio event — leaving her in tears despite her work supporting the party.
Thelma Louise, who has more than 200,000 TikTok followers, documented her eagerness before the early-voting rally she drove two hours to attend. But the mood quickly soured in subsequent videos describing her disbelief at what unfolded.
“There’s no excuse for treating me that way, because I didn’t do anything,” she said. “Was I mistaken for someone else? I don’t know what it was.”
Louise said she left the Democratic Party two years ago and threw herself into supporting Republicans, including volunteering for President Donald Trump’s campaign as a Trump Force captain. She said she had done nothing but back Republicans, only to be treated this way after making the two-hour trip.
She described being walked out in front of other attendees and “isolated as if I’d done something wrong.”
“This I will never forget. Never. This was beyond disrespect.”
In a follow-up video, Louise pointed to her press credentials from previous Republican events, including the Texas Youth Summit and a Dallas convention. MeidasTouch on Monday said it verified past posts documenting her attendance at those events, and her feeds show posts backing Trump and Paxton.
The episode comes as Paxton battles Democrat James Talarico in a tight race ahead of the Nov. 3 election. At an earlier San Antonio stop, a heckler was escorted out after shouting about Paxton’s alleged affairs.
While Louise said she still had no explanation for her removal, she took aim at Paxton’s campaign manager rather than the party at large.
“But Ken Paxton’s campaign manager? That person is 100% responsible for the disrespect that I received this evening,” she said. In a post on X, the MAGA influencer added that being treated like trash after supporting someone hurts and is inexcusable.
