Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ new PA prison accused of ‘inhumane’ treatment, housing violent offenders

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new prison has faced allegations of making life a living hell for inmates.

The disgraced music mogul, 56, was transferred to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed to Page Six Friday, after spending the past year at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

The Allenwood facility was previously accused of “inhumane” treatment of inmates and held prisoners indicted in an alleged coordinated assault involving makeshift weapons.

Allenwood Low’s history includes a lawsuit alleging cruel and unusual punishment and a separate criminal case involving an alleged plot by inmates to attack other prisoners.

In a 2017 lawsuit, former inmate Anthony Mammana accused a prison lieutenant of retaliating against him by confining him in a freezing room known as the “Yellow Room” for four days.

Mammana claimed he was stripped of his usual clothing and forced to wear thin, transparent garments while being denied blankets, sheets and a pillow.

He also said bright lights remained on around the clock, depriving him of sleep, and that he was denied basic necessities, including toilet paper, soap and towels, while guards mocked him.

The court agreed that Mammana’s treatment was inhumane. However, due to a legal technicality, he couldn’t pursue damages.

In a separate Sept. 2025 incident, federal prosecutors announced that 17 Allenwood Low inmates had been indicted over an alleged gang-related conspiracy to assault other prisoners in June 2023.

Prosecutors alleged the defendants conspired to attack other inmates with dangerous weapons, including locks and other heavy objects attached to strings, belts and socks.

According to authorities, the coordinated assault stemmed from a turf dispute to forcibly seize control of the housing unit’s television and telephone areas.

Several defendants also faced charges of possessing prohibited weapons inside the prison.

The prosecution was brought forward under a Department of Justice initiative targeting transnational criminal organizations.

Representatives for the Bureau of Prisons did not respond to request for comment.

Combs’ transfer comes days after he suffered a head injury while incarcerated at Fort Dix.

The incident sparked a report from TMZ, which Combs’ family denied, that the rapper had been involved in a fight with fellow inmate Christopher “Dudus” Coke, a convicted Jamaican drug lord.

The Bureau of Prisons declined to discuss the circumstances of Combs’ transfer.

The move also comes amid reports that Combs had been enjoying a surprisingly comfortable stint behind bars.

Last month, NBC News reported that four inmates alleged Combs had access to massages, premium alcohol and a cellphone while incarcerated at Fort Dix. The inmates also claimed other prisoners helped cook for him and clean his living space.

Combs’ representative pushed back on the reports, telling Page Six that Combs was serving his sentence in accordance with prison rules while pursuing an appeal.

The Bad Boy Records founder was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison in October 2025 after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He was acquitted of more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy following his federal trial in New York.

Combs is appealing his conviction and sentence.

His projected release date is currently March 2, 2028.
