“Baywatch” is back and hotter than ever.
Fox released the official trailer for its reboot of the iconic lifeguard drama Tuesday, offering a closer look at the series ahead of its premiere in January 2027.
The three-minute clip follows Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell), the captain of the Baywatch lifeguards, whose world is turned upside down when his biological daughter, Charlie Vale (Jessica Belkin), arrives at Venice Beach looking for her dad — and hoping to land a job as a lifeguard herself.

“I’m not looking for money or a father. I just want a job,” Charlie tells Hobie, who admits he has been “dreaming of a relationship” with his daughter but worries about her safety, saying “it’s too dangerous.”
There is also no shortage of the signature “Baywatch” slow-motion runs, iconic red swimsuits and hunky, shirtless lifeguards.
The trailer features a dramatic rescue sequence in which the team rushes into the ocean to save two girls who have been struck by a plane while parasailing.

“To be a Baywatch lifeguard, you have to be the best of the best,” Hobie tells the crew. “Because it’s our responsibility to protect the people of this city, no matter the cost. Get to work.”
The action off the beach is just as hot, with the trailer teasing a potential romance between Charlie and Luke (Noah Beck), as well as a possible hookup between Trina (Shay Mitchell) and Brad (Thaddeus LaGrone).
Brooks Nader’s Selene, Hassie Harrison’s Nat and Livvy Dunne’s Grace round out the Venice Beach crew, while Megan Thee Stallion makes a special appearance in the trailer.

Longtime “Baywatch” fans will also recognize a familiar face in the trailer: David Chokachi, who returns as original-series lifeguard Cody Madison.
In photos previously obtained by Page Six in May, Chokachi, 58, was spotted filming the reboot alongside two other original “Baywatch” alums: Kelly Packard, who played April Giminski, and Michael Bergin, who portrayed Jack “J.D.” Darius.
Meanwhile, Pamela Anderson, who famous played C.J. Parker for five seasons from 1992 to 1997, previously revealed that she had not been approached about making a cameo in the reboot.
“No one’s reached out to me,” she told Deadline in July, adding, “I don’t know much about it.”

Anderson, 59, did reveal that producers had approached her sons, Brandon Lee and Dylan Lee — whom she shares with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee — about potentially working on the project behind the camera.
“I know that they were talking to my sons at some point about producing, but I don’t think they had a meeting of the minds,” she said. “I’m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well.”
The first teaser for the reboot dropped in May via Amell’s Instagram account, featuring Nader and Dunne rocking the franchise’s classic red one-piece swimsuits.
Amell also gave fans a taste of some serious eye candy as he ran across the beach in slow motion wearing nothing but those iconic red swim trunks.
