Kimberly Guilfoyle ‘on very thin ice’ with Trump after accusations of pay-to-play scheme as ambassador to Greece

WASHINGTON — President Trump is considering firing Kimberly Guilfoyle after a series of explosive reports detailing alleged misconduct, sources tell The Post.

The US ambassador to Greece is “on very thin ice” as Trump deliberates her fate, a source close to the White House said.

Senior officials are “pissed off” and “looking to replace her,” an administration source added.

A third person close to Trump said it’s almost inconceivable that she retains her diplomatic post.

“If she survives this, she’s officially beaten ‘Trump World’ in legendary mode, defeated the final boss and unlocked an achievement no previous player thought was possible,” he joked.

Guilfoyle, the former fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. and the ex-wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, has been embroiled in a mounting scandal over alleged abuse of her staff and allegedly leveraging her position for personal gain.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Guilfoyle asked a donor to pay off a $100,000 credit card bill ahead of her Senate confirmation hearing in exchange for favors and then boasted about Greek tycoons paying for her travel and said “I’m going to make you a lot of f—ing money” to gain access to an event.

She is also the subject of an internal State Department investigation into her “tyrannical” tenure in Athens, including alleged mistreatment of staff, Daily Mail reported.

The Associated Press first reported Monday that Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are considering firing Guilfoyle.

A White House spokesperson said they were unable to confirm that Trump was considering canning her.
