“Big Brother 28” runner-up Taylor Brown is celebrating that third-place finisher Drew Campbell got evicted by his closest ally, “Survivor 38” alum Rick Devens, during the dramatic finale.
“It just proved that Drew is nothing but a lapdog to the ‘Icons,’ like he’s been for 87 days and like he will continue to be,” Brown, 28, exclusively told Page Six.
Brown said that all season long, the “Icons” — Devens, “Survivor 45” winner Dee Valladares and “Big Brother 26” alum Angela Murray — “literally had [Campbell] on a leash, and if they asked him to bark, he would ask how loud.”

“So I’m not surprised,” she added of Campbell’s eviction. “Drew did what we knew Drew would do. And that’s why Devens sent him out the door.”
Campbell, 22, was closely aligned with the “Icons” instead of the other newbies on “Big Brother 28.” But during Thursday’s live finale, Devens, 42, decided to cut Campbell and take Brown to the end, leaving the surgical dental assistant in tears when he left the house.
Still, Campbell, and five other jurors, voted for Devens to win the $750,000 grand prize.
Brown, meanwhile, only got LaTrice Verrett’s vote and came in second place, taking home $75,000.

The elementary school counselor, who was on the block six times this season, told Page Six she thinks the jury misunderstood her gameplay.
“I think maybe if they watch the show back, if they see a little bit of the live feeds, that they would definitely see that I was in a position where I couldn’t win,” she explained. “I couldn’t get in on any alliances. I couldn’t form bonds that I can trust and continue to move forward with.”
Brown continued, “It felt like my game just constantly fell apart every time I tried to be more aggressive, more vocal, more active. So that’s why I did my pod thing and it worked for me. I was able not to wear a mic and I could kind of talk things out and process things out.”

Additionally, Brown doubled down on her argument to the jury that Devens and the other “Icons” had an unfair advantage in the game.
“They came into this house with people in awe of them,” she said. “They came in with a fan base, which means they were more likely to be voted to get these powers.”
Brown added, “And because of that, that is the definition of elitism, power and privilege.”
