“Doc” is back for its third season, reuniting fans with the doctors and nurses of Minneapolis’ Westside hospital.

“Doc” centers on Dr. Amy Larsen, who loses eight years of her memory after suffering a traumatic brain injury. The first season saw Amy recover from her injuries and face the difficult journey of waking up divorced from the husband she loved and having lost a son, while trying to continue helping patients as she relearned hospital dynamics and research that feels new to her. Season 2 saw the introduction of Dr. Joan Ridley (Felicity Huffman), a mentor from Amy’s past who helped her get back on track to help patients — before her own untimely death.
