Wild video shows two men trading blows mid-flight in front of horrified passengers – including kids.
The Biman Bangladesh Airlines passengers slugged it out on Wednesday’s flight to London after an argument escalated, dramatic footage shared online shows.
One man, wearing a black shirt, clubbed his fellow passenger, who was in the row behind, before they exchanged a flurry of punches.
The man’s shirt ripped during the melee, which was described as a “frightening situation” by passenger Uddin Alim.
“What made it even more upsetting was that there were children and elderly people on the flight,” Allim said.
“They had nothing to do with the situation, yet they had to witness this behaviour and deal with the fear and stress it caused.
“Imagine being thousands of feet in the air, unable to simply walk away from a dangerous situation.
“Everyone expects to feel safe when they board an aircraft, but suddenly seeing passengers fighting is extremely frightening.
“This kind of behaviour should not happen on an aircraft, especially when there are innocent children, elderly passengers and families travelling together.”
An airline spokesperson said cabin crew on the flight, which departed Sylhet early Wednesday, “resolved the situation.”
The cause of the argument remains unclear and it’s not known if the two men were injured or faced any action when the plane landed in London.
The Post has approached the airline for comment.
