Collin Gosselin gives mom Kate savage two-word message ahead of dropping ‘therapeutic’ memoir

Collin Gosselin isn’t worried whatsoever about what his estranged mom, Kate, thinks of him.

The reality TV star, who is competing on Season 5 of FOX’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,”had a savage message for Kate when Page Six asked him if he had a message for her in case she tunes in.

“Well, if she does, ‘Hey, Mom!’” Collin, 22, said with a laugh at the “Special Forces” red carpet event in Los Angeles on Thursday. “Hope you enjoy.”

Kate previously competed on Season 1 of “Special Forces,” but her time was cut short after she suffered a neck injury and left the competition on the first day.

Collin, 22, insisted, however, that he’s not trying to one-up his mom by competing on the same reality show.

“I’m an adult now, and there’s enough of my life that my mom took from me and [my] childhood that she robbed from me, and this isn’t about her — it’s about me,” he told us. “It’s about growth. It’s about the amazing people I’ve met, and the amazing journey and adventure that we went on.”

Collin also teased what fans can expect from his highly anticipated memoir, “In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood,” which hits bookshelves Oct. 13.

He noted that writing the book was therapeutic for him.

“It was just so healing to be able to look at a picture of myself and be like, ‘That’s what I’m doing it for,’ and then think about all the millions of children who go through what I went through — getting thrown into the industry against their will,” he said, referring to his time on the TLC reality show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”

“There’s a big voice in my story that will never die, that flame in me will never die,” he continued. “This book is going to expose a lot. … Children deserve to be protected, and that’s what you can expect from my story.”

When we asked if he’s nervous for anyone to read his book, he bluntly responded, “I’m not the one that should be nervous.”

He added, “We’re putting it all out there, let’s just say that.”

According to the book’s publisher, the memoir is “a reckoning with the dark side of fame: the systems, the entourage, and the institutions that allowed one boy to be erased.”

Collin will revisit “being held down [in] the basement cell where he was hidden for years and the cocktail of powerful antipsychotics forced on an 11-year-old boy.”

Kate, 51, hit back at her son in June after he announced the memoir, calling him “mentally ill.”

Throughout the years, Collin has accused Kate of “child abuse and child exploitation,” which she’s denied. Her lawyer told the US Sun back in September 2024 that he didn’t believe Kate had done anything to “intentionally harm” Collin, and that she “did what she did to protect herself and her family” from her son’s “troubled behavior.”

Aside from Collin’s sister Hannah, he’s been estranged from the rest of his sextuplet siblings — Aaden, Joel, Alexis and Leah — and 25-year-old twin sisters, Cara and Madelyn, for years.

“Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” premieres Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
