A married Florida mother and her son were charged with incest after she admitted that the two had had sex “only about 100 times” since he was a teenager — while keeping it secret from her husband, according to police.
The sick relationship was first revealed by Shane Clemens, 22, who was outraged after his mom, Christina Clemens, 46, called the police and accused him of assaulting her last month, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
“So he got mad because she called and we arrested him for hitting mama. And then he said, ‘Well, I’ll tell you what — I’ve been having sex with my mama since I was 18 years old,’” Judd revealed in a video address Wednesday.
“So we asked mama, ‘Have you been having sex with your son since he was 18?’ She says, ‘Only about 100 times. I didn’t stutter’ — that’s what she told us,” the sheriff said about the mother and son, both from Lakeland.
Investigators then spoke with Christina’s husband, who said the couple were “happily married” and living together.
When he was asked if he knew his wife was having sex with her son, he said no, but he was a little suspicious because they used to go into the master bedroom together and lock the door, Judd said.
“What else can you say? That’s nasty,” the sheriff remarked.
Christina was charged with one count of incest, one count of living in open adultery and one count of domestic battery, jail records show.
She was released on a $6,250 total bond on Sept. 4.
Shane Clemens was charged with one count of incest and one count of domestic violence battery. He is being held without bond.
