Zoo advertises ‘child predator tour’ in cringeworthy mistake: ‘Seems a bit dangerous’

It’s not a tour any parent would want their child to take!

A UK zoo advertised tickets online to its unique “child predator tour,” where kids have the chance to see the jungle’s greatest beasts — in a cringeworthy mistake on its website.

The Chester Zoo’s 90-minute bus tour, where visitors have the opportunity to see Sumatran tigers, lions, rhinos and Komodo dragons, was given the unfortunate name due to a computer error, the BBC reported.

People online were quick to brand the mishap as “sinister,” according to the outlet, with many mocking the sick name.

One commenter was baffled by the tour’s unconventional name.

“Staggering – how did that get approved?” the person posted, according to the outlet.

“I hope this has been cleared by Cheshire Police – seems a bit dangerous,” another commenter sounded off.

A spokesperson for the zoo told the BBC that the cringey name was “due to our default naming convention in our system” — and that the mistake was “quickly changed.”

Tickets for the children’s “predator tour” were 25 euros, or around $33, while adult tickets were 30 euros, or around $40, according to the zoo’s website.
