Maye Musk shares her love of romance novels with her daughter

Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities are reading — whether it’s a timeless classic or the buzzy bestseller they can’t put down? Welcome to Page-Turners, where stars reveal the books that keep them hooked, inspired and up all night. Warning: your TBR pile is about to get a lot longer.

Maye Musk’s love of romance books and movies stem from Sunday night bonding with her daughter when she was a teenager.

“After my divorce … We’d bundle up under blankets, rent a romance movie, and watch it together while eating fried chicken and ice cream,” Maye — whose new book, “Timeless” is out now — told Page Six.

Elon Musk’s mom explained that their love of the genre led her daughter, Tosca, to create a streaming platform called Passionflix, which adapts romance novels into faithful films.

“The authors are often involved in the process, and fans get to see the characters and stories they love brought to life the way they imagined them,” Maye told us.

She added, “Naturally, many of my favorite books are ones I first enjoyed on the page before getting to see their stories come alive on screen.”

See below for Maye’s six must-read romance novels.

“A funny, easy-to-read romance about a Hollywood star who arrives in a small Southern town and meets a sharp-tongued local woman who isn’t remotely impressed by him. This was Tosca’s first Passionflix film, which makes it especially meaningful to me. I even flew to Atlanta to visit her on set.”

“The Protector” by Jodi Ellen Malpas

“A bodyguard romance filled with drama, danger and suspense. I loved the book—and loved attending the film’s premiere in London.”

“Vampire romance, action and drama—what more could you want? Each book keeps you completely riveted, and the men are gorgeous.”

“Royally Screwed” by Emma Chase

“A charming romance about a prince and the waitress who catches his attention. It has everything I want in a romance: heart, wit and plenty of chemistry.”

“A Lover’s Vow” by Brenda Jackson

Book cover for

“A thrilling romance that brings together danger, family, business, legacy and, of course, love. There’s enough suspense to keep you turning the pages.”

“Beauty from Pain” by Georgia Cates
