‘The End of Oak Street’ hits streaming—Where to watch the Anne Hathaway movie

Oak Street is going back in time.

“The End of Oak Street,” which hit theaters on Aug. 14, comes to streaming today, Sept. 15.

The new sci-fi thriller from “It Follows” director David Robert Mitchell follows the Platt family and their fight to survive when their quiet suburban neighborhood is mysteriously transported from 1982 to a prehistoric time when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Anne Hathaway stars as the matriarch of the Platts in “The End of Oak Street,” marking her fourth of five major motion pictures to be released in 2026; “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” “Mother Mary,” and of course “The Odyssey” came before “Oak Street,” while “Verity” will hit theaters in just a few weeks.

The movie also features Ewan McGregor, playing Hathaway’s husband.

“The End of Oak Street” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! “The End of Oak Street”s digital release date is today, Sept. 15.

Where to watch ‘The End of Oak Street’

“The End of Oak Street” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “The End of Oak Street,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “The End of Oak Street” whenever you want to.

If you choose the rental option, you’ll have 30 days to begin watching the movie and 48 hours of access once you’ve pressed play.

‘The End of Oak Street’ DVD, Blu-ray and 4K release date

While you can stream “The End of Oak Street” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, because there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access.

Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

“The End of Oak Street” will be released on Blu-ray, 4K and regular DVD on Nov. 3, but you can preorder today.
