Television’s biggest stars have walked the carpet. Now that you’ve seen what everyone is wearing and voted for your favorite looks, we invite you to comment on a few of the styles.
Let’s start with some that are fun, daring and gorgeous. Here’s who we were still talking about as the show got underway. Join us in the comments, won’t you?
Who needs a bedazzling kit? Embellishments, on looks from Zendaya, Chase Infiniti and Shailene Woodley, for example, are nothing new, but they do catch your eye. Is it too much, too little or just right?
Colman Domingo is well-known — and hailed — as a red carpet rule breaker. He stayed true to that tonight in his tawny jacket. But should men stick to the more traditional black tie for formal events like these?
Every awards show seems to have its respective color scheme. Sometimes they’re hot (reds and deep purples), sometimes they’re cool (icy gray and blush pink) and sometimes they’re barely colors at all (are black gowns really a trend?). Tonight, it was soft blues and lilacs, seen on everyone from Sarah Pidgeon, Jessica Williams and Florence Pugh. Do you prefer the bravura colors or the softer shades?
Carey Mulligan wore a gorgeous shade of blue and it fits perfectly. Do you agree?
Broad shoulders, boxy shapes, jumbo pants. The “I’m swimming in it” suit took over the carpet on Riz Ahmed, RuPaul Charles and Carl Clemons-Hopkins. Does the big bet pay off, or should these guys have stopped at the tailor?
