Kroy Biermann has been ordered to pay a $64,000 gambling debt after his son KJ was granted a $200,000 bond in the 15-year-old’s sexual battery and sodomy case.
Biermann’s debt is in connection with a trip to the Bahamas that he took in November 2021, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. The former NFL athlete defaulted, so he company took the case to Georgia, where he lives.
Sky Warrior, which handles the credit lines at the Baha Mar Casino in the Bahamas, was awarded $52,500, according to the judgment, “plus prejudgment interest, together with $11,927.35 in attorneys’ fees and costs.”
Biermann, 41, was served the post-judgment order at his Georgia home on Aug. 28, the outlet reports.
It was undoubtedly a rough month for Biermann, who’s the estranged husband of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Kim Zolciak, 48.
On Aug. 17. their son KJ was shockingly arrested for aggravated sodomy(a forceful sex act involving the mouth or anus) and aggravated sexual battery after a female classmate accused him of assaulting her in the Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, in April.
The girl claimed to officials that, while in a co-ed sauna, KJ allegedly forced himself on her despite her saying no. KJ then allegedly attempted “multiple times to have sexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants,” per the court docs.
Additionally, she accused KJ of forcing oral sex and digitally penetrating her vagina, per the court docs, and alleged that when she “finally managed to get away from him … he pulled up his pants and left.”
In another bombshell revealed in court Friday, prosecutors accused the teen of having sex with an underage relative.
During the Sept. 11 hearing — which Biermann, Zolciak and their 29-year-old daughter Brielle attended — Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy said investigators previously found multiple videos on KJ’s cellphone that allegedly depicted him having penetrative sex with a family member under the age of 12.
But KJ’s lawyer, Jason Sheffield, defended his client in a statement to Page Six, stating that “the characterizations made in court regarding the prior juvenile matter involving KJ Biermann grossly misrepresent both the facts and the ultimate resolution of that case.”
“The matter arose from inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers,” he continued. “It did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape, sexual intercourse, or any comparable offense.”
KJ was granted bond Friday, which Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge set at $200,000.
KJ must stay at his mom’s home and attend school virtually. Additionally, he must abstain from social media and avoid cellphone use of any kind.
KJ, who will be subjected to electronic monitoring, is also barred from having any direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim, her family or associates, and cannot be in contact with anyone aged 16 or under.
Biermann and Zolciak share six children together. He adopted the reality star’s two daughters from her previous relationship — Brianna and Ariana, 24 — and they also share KJ, Kane, 14, and twins Kash and Kaia, 12.
