Sharon Stone’s dating life has hit a dry spell.
“For quite a long time I’ve had no luck at all,” the actress admitted on Mayim Bialik’s “Breakdown” podcastTuesday. “I’ve been celibate for quite a while now because I’m just at the point where I really only want to be with someone that I care for.
The “Basic Instinct” star explained that her wants and needs in a relationship have changed since becoming an empty nester, and she is now looking for a “companion” — not “just someone to have sex with.”

“I’m kind of bored with that,” Stone confessed. “I’m in the no luck at all phase right now.” Stone called it “the phase you need to be willing to be in to have the thing that I really want.”
“I’m a really good girlfriend, but I haven’t been a girlfriend in a long time,” she added. “And I’ve been a girlfriend to bad boyfriends, and I’ve been a girlfriend to good boyfriends.”
Stone laughed, “I’ve had good luck and bad luck and no luck at all.”

Although the Oscar nominee has been married twice, she also admitted, “I have had loves in my life, but I don’t think I’ve had the great love of my life.”
Stone was previously married to producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1990 and journalist Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004.
She adopted her eldest son, Roan, now 26, in 2000, with Bronstein. After their 2004 split, Stone adopted sons Laird, now 21, in 2005, and Quinn, now 20, a year later.

In June, Stone revealed that Bronstein’s callous response to her wanting a bilateral mastectomy was the final straw that ended their marriage.
The “Casino” star — who was not “ f–king around” — decided to undergo surgery after being told by doctors that the procedure was the right course of action after they found tumors in her breasts.
However, her then-husband made it clear that he did not support her decision, telling her that it was “ridiculous” before getting up and leaving the room.
“That was the end of the marriage. That was it. He was done with me then. It was over,” she noted.

Her tumors ended up being benign, and she did not have to undergo a double mastectomy, but the moment marked the end of their marriage.
“It was just over in the room. You could just tell. It was over. It was just over. He thought I was ridiculous. He thought it was foolish. He thought I was making too many decisions myself.”
Since their divorce, the actress has been publicly single for 22 years. However, she admitted last summer that she once dated rapper Nelly without divulging any further details.
