Laila Ali loves a good self-help book.
“I tend to gravitate toward books that help me grow in some aspect of my life, whether it’s parenting, health and wellness, business, or mindset,” the professional boxer told Page Six.
Ali — whose new book “A Spark of Greatness” is out now — added that a book earns a place on her shelf when she comes “away feeling like I’m a better person for having read it.”
“A Spark of Greatness,” a picture book autobiography illustrated by Cozbi A. Cabrera, tells the story of growing up as the daughter of beloved boxing champ Muhammad Ali to becoming an undefeated fighter herself.
As for her favorite place to dive into a new read?
“There’s nothing better than curling up on the couch with a warm cup of coffee and getting lost in a great book,” the author told us.
