Brandi Glanville details daily 18-hour IV trips for ongoing health struggles: ‘I feel like death’

Brandi Glanville is receiving daily 18-hour IV infusions amid her health struggles.

“I know I’m so skinny right now. I can’t eat because the IVs that I do decrease my food. I feel like death, I look like death,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum began in an Instagram ReelSunday.

The former Bravo star then detailed the types of IV treatments she uses, including Imipenem, which she told her followers she uses overnight, which makes it “difficult” to sleep.

Glanville shared that a nurse comes to her house four hours per day to help her with the IV treatment. She has learned how to do the rest on her own, which totals a whopping 18 hours of treatment in total.

“I really don’t get along with my nurse at all,” she admitted in a second clip. “We fight.”

Glanville, 53, showed her followers all of her IV infusions sprawled out covering her entire kitchen counter.

“For the first time, I’m showing you what my life has really looked like behind closed doors,” she captioned the video. “The treatments. The IVs. The exhaustion. The days nobody saw.”

“I haven’t been ready to talk about all of it publicly, and there’s still a lot I’m not ready to share yet. This is only one minute of a much bigger story.”

Glanville explained that she is confident the root of her health problems stems from her facial parasite, which is why she “claws” at her face.

“I just want to cut my face open and take it out,” she confessed.

“So now I have to start my IVs, I mean I’m on IVs almost 20 hours a day. The only time I leave my house is to do my podcast.”

In the caption of her second video, Glanville said that she “never thought this would become [her] life” and that she is “fighting” to remove her facial parasite.

She concluded, “I know everyone wants to know exactly what I’m dealing with. I’m not ready to share that part just yet. But I am ready to start showing you what it’s taken to get here. This is my reality right now.”

Back in June, Glanville revealed that she was diagnosed with a benign facial tumor.

The growth is “in one of my lymph nodes in [her] face,” she said on an episode of her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast. “That could be why the fluid is going around my face.”

Glanville has been battling facial disfigurement since 2023 and went public with her health issues in June 2024, first blaming Bravo for her “stress”-induced health woes.

However, a few months later, she shared doctors’ belief that it actually stemmed from a parasite that “jumps around” her face.

Over the past three years, Glanville has lost multiple teeth and spent six figures on medical costs.

Last year, she called the situation “worse than ever.”

In February, Glanville (pictured in June 2025) shared another theory about her health woes — ruptured breast implants. brandiglanville/instagram

“You really should change your implants every 10 years,” she said at the time. “I learned a really, really hard lesson.” Instagram/brandiglanville

“I’m f–king miserable,” she tweeted in March 2025. “My face is … literally melted away.”

In February, Glanville claimed that cited ruptured breast implants as the reason behind the infection, claiming silicone leaked into her lymph nodes and clogged them.

“You really should change your implants every 10 years,” she told TMZ at the time. “I learned a really, really hard lesson.”
